Into Low-Code with OutSystems @ Berlin
How often can you share something interesting about your work, and win a contest to participate in an international event? Maybe not so often, but it can happen and here are my tips!

Take this example, about how I earned a pass to Landing Festival in Berlin. This event is organized in Europe, for developers and IT enthusiasts from all over the world. There was a call-for-speakers and I’ve submitted my talk, to share something I’m interested about: developing mobile and web apps with OutSystems.
OutSystems is a low-code platform that allows developers, to deliver applications in an incredible speed (sometimes 10x faster than usual). And is considered the #1 low-code development platform (by Forester).
Because at least 50% of new applications will be developed in low-code platforms by 2020 (Gartner), there is a high interest for RAD (rapid application development) by the market. The organization of Landing Festival is aware of that, and accepted my talk offering me a full ticket and great conditions to present this talk!

During my presentation, I could understand participants’ enthusiasm in this low-code platform. In fact, many of them were delighted to see the speed of developing beautiful interfaces in OutSystems. After my talk I got requested for more information and I proposed to do an extra workshop.
During the workshop I explained how to join the community, where to learn, and what career paths exist for OutSystems professionals.
Everyone was able to quick-start, configure their environments, and to implement a web/mobile responsive application in about 15 minutes.

By achieving faster results, low-code with OutSystems becomes both exciting and useful, because applications are able to incorporate user feedback in a record time.
And why is this article interesting to you? Because you can also enjoy working, travel and share knowledge. And here is my tip: 1) learn to develop a low-code language; 2) and share knowledge of what you do around the world!
